Washington’s Changing Waterfront

This weekend I teamed up with audio producer Jackson Bierfeldt for KCRW’s Radio Race, a 24-hour mad dash to create a non-fiction radio story in 24 hours. This year’s theme was “The New Normal.”

We interviewed workers down at Washington D.C.’s recently-redeveloped Wharf District about how they’re dealing with big changes at the nation’s oldest continuously-operating open-air fish market. Here’s the link to our story. Check out Jackson’s stellar production work here.
